Deborah A. Carman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Newcomb College and her Law degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1983. After graduation, she was house counsel for a major insurance company, and in 1986 she started her own firm in Boca Raton.

Ms. Carman, is a member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, a Past President of the Broward County Woman Lawyers Association, Realtor Association of South Palm Beach County, Woman's Council of Realtors, Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Past Leads Group Chairperson, has served on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Philharmonic, the Commercial Realtors Society of Palm Beach County, the Chairperson of the Boca Raton Community Relations Board , Rotary International, and is on the Board of the Boca Raton Children’s Museum and regularly teaches contracts classes for the Palm Beach County Board of Realtors.
