According to the September Mortgage Monitor report released by Lender Processing Servicesforeclosure timelines continue to increase, thanks in part of the recent robo-signing allegations and Florida's foreclosure defense attorneys.
If it's any consolation, that's nearly two years before the bank or mortgage lender actually takes back the property…meaning plenty of "free" rent for struggling homeowners.
Judicial foreclosures generally take longer to process because they are handled through the courts. When a homeowner hires an experienced Florida foreclosure defense attorney to contest the foreclosure action the timeline dramatically increases.
The only way to stop the foreclosure is to fight back. An experienced foreclosure defense attorney can provide you with experienced guidance about your options and how to achieve your goals.
But one thing is very clear - if you do nothing, you will lose! If you fight, you have options!
The Carman Law Firm is a firm that understands the difference between Foreclosure Delay and true Foreclosure Defense. We listen to our clients to understand their financial circumstances and tailor defense strategies to achieve our clients' goals. For clients that do not know what to do, we evaluate whether in makes financial sense to save their home or develop exit strategies for clients where loan modification is just not a viable option.
In cases where the lender bringing the lawsuit does not own the note or have legal standing to foreclosure we immediately seek the dismissal of the action against our client. Banks are most likely to make very generous settlements when they are met with a vigorous and through defense by an experienced foreclosure defense attorney.
