Florida's Housing Prices ARE NOT Coming Back!

Look, I certainly don't want to be Ms. Doom and Gloom, but the reality is that the Florida housing market IS NOT coming back, not in our lifetime anyway.

Most didn't want to hear it, especially when the government, media, real estate industry professionals and the housing market analysts continued projecting the great comeback.

Well, it's certainly been a long time coming. Housing market analysts are FINALLY publicly recognizing what I've been saying all along, housing prices ARE NOT coming back, not in our lifetime anyway!

CNN/Money.com  recently published an article about Celia Chen's housing forecasts. Celia Chen, a housing market analyst for Moody Analytics' says that home prices in many areas especially Arizona, California, Florida and Las Vegas, won't come back until 2038… I say, basically NEVER.

Why do I say NEVER? Because once a forecast goes out that far it is basically meaningless. Let's get real, I don't care what they say, no one has the ability to forecast twenty some odd years into the future.

Celia Chen herself says it; "Chen cautions to take these forecasts with a grain of salt. It's impossible to be exact about such long-term trends. Housing is also very dependent on the overall economy and other factors. Predictions can easily be off by many years as conditions change." And then goes on to further point out that her numbers AREN'T even adjusted for inflation, saying that; "these are nominal prices, inflation-adjusted recovery will take even longer."

If you are still one of the many believing that Florida's housing prices will come back in the next five to seven years, consider this;

  • We don't even have a real, real estate market in this country,
  • Only the government is lending and doing so under very strict guidelines,
  • The only people selling are those that have to,
  • The only people buying are those looking to steal something,
  • Florida home prices continue a downward spiral being nowhere close to the bottom,
  • We haven't fixed the foreclosure crisis and shadow inventory continues to rise,

And last but certainly not the least,

It's time to start accepting that deflated assets will not miraculously re-inflate themselves.

STOP planning your future with the idea that somehow housing prices may come back in the next four, five or even seven years, it's not going to happen… not even a chance.

The sooner you accept it, the faster you can act, move beyond the crisis and start living life again.

Look I know one thing for sure, I may not be able to fix the world, but I certainly can help fix YOU!
